Bookmark Wall lets you browse and organize your Chrome bookmarks bar locally with tabs and a grid, shows frequently visited sites with optional pins, and can optionally scan bookmark links for expired pages when you choose “Clean expired bookmarks”. We respect your privacy. This extension does not collect, sell, or upload your bookmarks, browsing history, or pin list to developer-operated servers or third parties.
bookmarks permission, we access folders and links on the
bookmarks bar (titles, URLs, hierarchy, and order) to display and search
them in the extension, and to create, rename, edit, move, or delete them
when you choose to. Scope is the bookmarks bar only (Other bookmarks are
not included).
history permission, we read history in your Chrome profile
to build the Frequents tab (sites visited in about the last 90 days,
aggregated by site, ranked by visit count). If you enabled Chrome History
sync, that profile history may include visits synced from your other
devices. We do not upload history to our servers.
storage permission, we store on this device an ordered list
of URLs (and titles) you pin, so pins persist across sessions.
favicon permission, we load favicons for bookmarked and
frequents sites to show on cards.
chrome.storage. Bookmark changes are written only to
Chrome’s built-in bookmark storage and do not leave your computer via this
extension.
bookmarks: Read and modify the bookmarks bar to show tabs /
groups / the grid, refresh when bookmarks change, and support create,
rename, edit, drag-and-drop reorder, and delete actions you initiate.
favicon: Load site favicons so cards are easier to
recognize.
history: Read browsing history on this profile to build the
Frequents / most-visited list. Not uploaded to our servers.
storage: Persist your pinned URL list locally across
sessions. Not synced to developer servers.
http://*/*, https://*/*): Used
only for user-initiated dead-link checks and a brief connectivity probe.
The proxy permission is not requested.
We do not sell or share your bookmark data, history-derived frequents data, or pin list with advertisers, data brokers, or other third parties. Optional link checks contact the bookmarked sites (and a public connectivity endpoint) from your device; that is not sharing with the developer.
This extension is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
If our privacy practices change, we will update this page and the effective date. For significant changes, please review the policy again.
